Last week Paul spent 3-days near Nottingham, with the Ancient Tree Forum (ATF), at the Valuing and Managing Veteran Trees workshop. This advanced course for trainers is part of a European wide initiative to raise the standards of protection and care provided to our Ancient and Veteran trees. During the course, delegates went to Sherwood Forest where they took the chance to meet the 1150 year old "Major Oak".
As part of the VETREE Project, Paul will soon be delivering "Valuing and Managing Veteran Trees" courses at venues throughout Wales.
